Accra, Nov. 30, GNA – Some of the continents top artists are expected to perform at the 2012 Glo CAF Awards, to be hosted by Accra, on December 20.
A statement from the Public Relations outfit of Glo Ghana said, some of the continents great artists like Salif Keita, Ladysmith, Black Mambazo, Lagbaja and Yvonne Chaka Chaka are billed to make an appearance on the night.
According to the statement, the event will also see a host of Glo ambassadors as well as other African football legends on a night expected to be a blend of exhilarating blend of banqueting, dance, comedy, magic and African music.
The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) last week released the list of nominees for the 2012 Awards, with Ghana’s Andre Dede Ayew vying for the prestigious Footballer of the Year with Alex Song of Barcelona and Cameroun, Demba Ba of Newcastle and Senegal, Didier Drogba of Shanghai Shenhua and Ivory Coast and Yaya Toure of Manchester City and Ivory Coast.
CAF is expected to release the three top nominees for the awards a week before the event.
